Kiko Kostadinov

Art, design, music, theory, form, function, language and imagery all have a place in the world that Kiko Kostadinov (b. 1989, Bulgaria) creates through his eponymous, London-based, label. Established in 2016, Kiko Kostadinov has been challenging contemporary aesthetics since the designer received his MA from Central Saint Martins that same year. Kostadinov’s approach to design is holistic, beginning with rigorously researching historical touchpoints and evolving into designs that are shaping tomorrow’s definitions of masculinity and femininity. When it came to designing his At.Kollektive collaboration in leather, Kostadinov was thinking about his own needs as a frequent traveler, constantly on the move. “I travel often and I really wanted to design items that I could use myself,” he explains. The result is a collection of elevated travel essentials, comfortable yet highly considered. Clothes and accessories which are designed to move with the wearer.
